To be the premier provider of choice for best-in-class industrial and manufacturing outsourced services in the UK and to meet our ambitious environmental goals we have developed programmes and processes to manage environmental exposures in a manner that fully meets the requirements of ISO 14001:2004; furthermore, we have held external UKAS accredited certification since 2002.
ThyssenKrupp Services has also signed up to the Chem-E-Safe code of conduct. By adopting the Chem-E-Safe code we are committed to the protection of the water environment by complying fully with statutory requirements and best practice for the handling, storage and disposal of chemicals. The Chem-E-Safe code is supported by the Chemical Industries Association, British Chemical Distributors and Traders Association Ltd, Chemical and Oil Recycling Association and Business in the Environment. Certification is issued jointly by Severn Trent Water and the Environment Agency.
ThyssenKrupp Services is also a member of the Motorvate scheme run by the Energy Saving Trust. As a member of the scheme we are committed to the reduction in CO2 emissions associated with our vehicle fleet operations.
